Tim is the founder and driving force behind LOVE Concrete. Forever an optimist and well known for his can-do attitude he has embraced concrete as his material of choice. Tim has been working in the flooring industry for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge in all things concrete. Alongside Tim, we have a strong team who have been selected for their individual expertise and we are proud to be able to provide a unique service to the South Australian community.
Our work can been seen in restaurants, bars, cafes and public spaces all over Adelaide CBD and the Adelaide hills and in homes throughout SA. We are proud to have played a large role in the refurbishment of the Penfolds Magill Estate Cafe, Cellar door and Grange Cellars. Beresford Winery, Osteria Oggi & The Migration museum are a few of the public spaces you can see our floors and we encourage you to get up close and personal with concrete before making the decision as to whether this is the flooring choice for you. Please read our Love Concrete polished floor FAQ’s for more information and email us for documents relating to new polished floors including guidelines for supply and installation of concrete.
With concrete benchtops popping up in all the best new bars, restaurants and cafes in Adelaide its hard to believe our first concrete benchtop dates all the way back to 2010, when Gareth and Emma from Red Door Bakery jumped at the opportunity to use concrete as their statement piece in the refurbishment of their bakery in Croydon. Concrete benchtop technology has changed a lot in the past 6 years however, with the popularisation of Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) allowing more intricate architectural designs to be produced. Concrete is now not only seen as a rustic and industrial looking material but can be integrated beautifully into minimal and modern designed spaces.
We pride ourselves on being one of the only companies in Adelaide to have mastered both wet-cast concrete and GFRC bench top production. Wet-cast bench top production not only allows us to create pieces with varying levels of aggregate exposure but we are able to match floors with bench tops and create massive single span pieces which become the statement in any space (Osteria Oggi being one of the best examples of this to date). Please have a look at our Love Concrete benchtop FAQ’s page for more information and explore our gallery to see beautiful images of our best benchtops.
Having originally started as a flooring business we do offer a range of services outside of the shiny concrete type, including timber installation and finishing, industrial coatings and general floor preparation.
